Audio to video with a cover, a moving waveform and captions.

To turn audio into video, load your MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG or WhatsApp voice message, pick a cover, a format and colors, and export the MP4. The waveform moves with the voice, frame by frame, and the video lasts exactly as long as the audio. A title and captions are optional.

How do I post audio on Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp Status?

Reels, Shorts, TikTok and WhatsApp Status take video, not a bare audio file. So a podcast clip, a sermon or a voice message has to become a video before it goes to the feed. That is what an audiogram does: it pairs the sound with a picture that moves.

A still image with sound works, but people scrolling skip it. A waveform that reacts to the voice shows that someone is talking, the cover tells whose content it is, and captions hold everyone watching with the sound off, which is most people on a phone.

Which format should I use: square, vertical or horizontal?

Pick the format for the place the video will spend the most time. Choose before exporting: changing it later means creating the video again.

  • In vertical, the cover, title, waveform and captions stay inside the area Reels and TikTok do not cover with buttons and the description.
  • In horizontal, the cover sits on the left and the title, waveform and captions on the right.
  • Without a cover, the waveform gets more room in the center.
FormatSizeWhere to use it
Vertical 9:161080 x 1920Reels, Stories, Shorts, TikTok and WhatsApp Status
Square 1:11080 x 1080Instagram and Facebook feed
Horizontal 16:91920 x 1080YouTube, websites and big screens

How does the waveform follow the voice?

Before exporting, we read the whole audio and measure the sound of every video frame, 30 per second. None of it is decorative animation: when the speaker gets louder, the waveform grows; in a pause, it drops.

There are two styles. Bars shows the frequencies of the voice as bars mirrored from the center, lows in the middle and highs at the edges. Pulse shows the volume of the last second pulsing out from the center, like a voice message. Colors come from four ready palettes, or you pick the background and the accent. The text color adjusts itself for contrast.

Can I add captions to an audiogram?

Yes. Load an SRT or VTT timed to the audio and each line shows under the waveform, in up to two lines, at the right moment. Captions matter a lot in talking videos: a large share of viewers watch with the sound off.

If you do not have captions yet, create the SRT from a transcript of the audio and come back. If the file runs early or late, fix the timing with the subtitle sync tool before creating the video.

Frequently asked questions

How do I turn a WhatsApp voice message into a video?

Save the voice message (it comes as OPUS or OGG), load it here, choose a cover and the vertical format, and export the MP4. The video is ready for Status, for Reels or to send back in a chat.

How do I add an image to an MP3?

Load the MP3 and the image as the cover, in JPG, PNG or WebP. The cover shows with rounded corners, with the waveform and the title around it. You get an MP4 that lasts as long as the audio.

How long can the audio be?

Up to 2 hours. For social media, a short clip works best: trim the strongest part first, from 30 seconds to a minute and a half, and create the video from that. It is faster and keeps people watching.

Does the sound lose quality?

When the audio is already AAC, like most M4A files, it is copied unchanged. Other formats are converted to AAC, the standard sound of MP4, which plays on every phone and is accepted by every platform.

How long does it take to create the video?

It depends on the audio's length. A one-minute clip is ready quickly; a full episode takes a few minutes. The bar shows the percentage and the time left, and you can cancel.

Is there a watermark?

No. The MP4 has no watermark and needs no sign-up, with the cover, title and colors you chose.
