Clips.

Clips are short moments from your video, ready to post. These articles cover the clips page, downloading a captioned clip, creating and adjusting clips, going vertical while following the speaker, removing pauses, adding a logo and text, using templates and downloading several clips at once.

  1. How to use the automatic Clips page

Open the video and click Clips in the file's menu. The automatic clips show up on the Automatic tab, each with its impact score, passage, title and reason. Use search, Filters and sorting to find the right clip and click Download clip on the card.

  2. How to download a clip with captions

On the Clips page, click Download clip on the card. Choose the 9:16 format for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, open Captions in the right menu and click a style. Then click Download and Download MP4. If you like, turn on Email me the clip link before you download.

  3. How to create a manual clip

On the Clips page, click New clip and choose where the clip starts and ends, word by word. Or, on the Transcription page, select the words of the passage and click Create clip. The clip you create shows up on the Manual tab of the Clips page.

  4. How to adjust a clip

On the clip's card, click the scissors (Adjust). In the Transcript panel, click a word to change where the clip starts or ends, or use the slider. If you like, turn on Remove words to take words out of the final captions or Edit text to fix what's written.

  5. How to choose the clip's format and framing

In the Download clip window, choose the format in Output format: 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, 1:1 or 4:5 for the feed and 16:9 for YouTube. In any format other than Original, Framing shows up: with Motion tracking on, the camera follows whoever is speaking.

  6. How to remove pauses and filler words

In the Download clip window, scroll down to Audio and turn on Remove pauses. The silences between words are cut, while laughter and audible sounds stay. Choose the intensity, Light, Balanced or Strong, and turn on Remove filler words to take out interjections like uh, um and hmm.

  7. How to add a logo, text and backgrounds to a clip

In the Download clip window, use the right menu. Text adds text over the clip. Hooks brings ready-made backgrounds and text hooks. Media adds your logo or another image, uploaded once and kept in your library. Drag to position each element and set when it shows up.

  8. How to split the clip's screen

In the Download clip window, choose 9:16, 1:1 or 4:5 and open Split in the right menu. Turn on Enable split, choose the orientation, the video side and its size. The other part of the screen is free for images or text, from the Media and Text panels.

  9. How to use clip templates

A template saves captions, split screen, images, texts and shapes together. On the file's Templates page, use a ready-made template or create your own with New template. Then, in the Download clip window, open Templates in the right menu and apply the look to the clip with one click.

  10. How to download several clips at once

On the Clips page, click Select and check the clips. In the bar that appears, click Download and choose how to receive them: one .zip file or separate files. If a clip already has a saved look, you also choose between the same look for all or each clip's own. If you like, get the links by email.
