The ceremony comes back as text, split into chapters, and you go straight to each part. Before processing, trim off the wait before the graduates walk in: it won't use your hours.
Finding each graduate's moment
During the reading of names, every graduate is announced out loud. Search “Brianna” and you land on the second she was called. From there you build an individual clip, trimmed word by word, for the family that ordered one. With 80 graduates, you search 80 names instead of hunting for 80 moments in three hours of footage.
Speeches that deserve captions
The valedictorian and the tribute to families are what the class shares most. They come out with burned-in captions in one of 235 styles, and the full film gets an SRT with a YouTube preset. If a name comes out misspelled, fix it in the text and the captions follow.
The exact words of the oath and the speeches
The class committee wants the valedictorian's speech in the yearbook; the school wants a record of the ceremony. The transcript downloads as PDF or TXT with the speakers separated. On Studio and Agency, speakers are identified by name automatically.

A nursing pinning ceremony, from the auditorium to every graduate's clip
Friday night, a college auditorium. The nursing school's pinning and graduation ceremony runs 2 h 10 min, with 86 graduates. The class committee booked three deliverables: the full ceremony film, a short clip of each graduate for families who ordered one and class clips for Instagram.
On Saturday, the videographer uploads the A-cam file. The ceremony was also livestreamed on YouTube, and that link would work just as well. He marks from the dean's welcome to the closing remarks: the wait before the processional stays out and uses no hours.
Within minutes the ceremony comes back as text, split into chapters: welcome, keynote, valedictorian, tribute to families, pinning and reading of names, nursing pledge, closing. On Studio, the dean, the announcer, the valedictorian and the keynote speaker already show up by name.
Now the names. He searches “Brianna” and lands on the moment the announcer reads her full name. He creates a clip from there, extends the end through the pinning and the handshake with the dean, and moves on to the next name. “Caleb” came out as “Kaleb” in the transcript; he fixes it in the text and the clip's captions come out right.
Then the speeches. In the hooks tab, the strongest line from the tribute to families is the one about double shifts, with a high score. It becomes a 60-second vertical clip with burned-in captions and the class template with “Nursing” in the title. The valedictorian speech yields two more, one funny, one about the first day of clinicals.
Last, the film. The full ceremony goes up on YouTube with an SRT and chapters in the description, for relatives who couldn't make it. On Studio, a 5-minute paper edit of the best moments goes to Premiere as .xml, where music and class footage come in. The committee gets the speeches as a PDF for the yearbook.

Does it handle long ceremonies?
Yes. There is no length limit: your plan's hours are the only cap. Before processing, mark just the ceremony so the wait and the intermission stay out. The ceremony comes back split into chapters, so three hours of footage doesn't mean three hours of searching.
Does it work for installations, tributes and memorial services?
