Story.
Beyond the text, FilmScribe organizes the story in your recording. These articles cover chapters and the moments inside each one, the emotions page with the best phrases, how to build a script from the transcript and how to use the diagrams: mind map, flow and timeline.
-
How to use chapters and moments
Open Chapters in the file's menu. Each chapter has a title, summary, start, duration, speakers, emotions and topics, and clicking the number plays the chapter. Export timestamps copies or downloads the times in YouTube's chapter format. Generate moments shows the parts of each chapter.
-
How to use the Emotions page
Open Emotions in the file's menu. Episode map opens a chart of the intensity across the recording: click a passage to read it. Pick an emotion, filter by intensity and sort by the most intense, by video order or by the longest. Further down are the Best Phrases by Impact.

How to create a script from the transcript
Open Script in the file's menu and click New script. Choose the delivery, full film or teaser, the duration and, if you like, a style, outside context and scenes. Then click See the possibilities to compare paths before writing, or Write directly. Each passage of the script points to the exact line in the transcript.
-
How to use the diagrams
Open Diagrams in the file's menu and click Generate diagrams. We turn the transcript into a mind map, a flow and a timeline, in about a minute. Click any point to open the passage in the player, edit titles and notes and download as Markdown, PDF or TXT.
