FilmScribe in Gemini your recordings in Gemini CLI, with one command.

The FilmScribe connector works in Gemini CLI, Gemini in the terminal, which supports MCP servers. With one command, Gemini can read your transcripts, chapters, hooks and clips, and hand you download links and timelines for your editor. If you allow it when connecting, it also organizes, creates and imports YouTube videos. It comes with Studio and Agency, trials of those plans included.

What you ask Gemini

From the terminal to your footage

Lookups don't use your plan's hours. Links work for up to 24 hours, and importing or processing shows the hours it will use first.

Gemini only sees and does what you approved

Login opens in your browser, on a FilmScribe screen that shows the assistant's name. By default, access is read-only. Deleting and spending hours always wait for your yes.

We don't store your chats. Under Profile > Connections you see what each assistant looked up or changed, and revoke access whenever you want.

Frequently asked questions

Does the connector work in the Gemini app or only in the terminal?

Our step-by-step setup currently covers Gemini CLI, which supports MCP servers with sign-in. If the Gemini app on the web or on your phone starts supporting custom connectors, the same address works, and we'll update the setup under Profile > Connections.

Can Gemini transcribe a YouTube video?

With the connector, it doesn't have to. If you allow changes, Gemini imports the YouTube video for us to transcribe, after showing how many hours it uses and waiting for your yes. Once the transcript is ready, it reads the text, chapters and clips straight from FilmScribe.

Do I need to know how to code to use Gemini CLI?

No. It's two commands: one to add the server and one to log in. After that you talk in plain language, right in the terminal, like you would in any chat.

Can Gemini delete or change anything in my account?

Only if you allow it. By default access is read-only. If you tick “Also allow creating, editing and deleting” when connecting, it does what you ask within your plan's limits, and deleting or spending hours always wait for your yes.

Which FilmScribe plan includes the connector?

Studio and Agency, trials of those plans included. It isn't part of Pro. The connector only shows your assistant what your plan includes, and follows the same limits as the app.

How do I disconnect Gemini?

Under Profile > Connections, revoke the connection. It also ends on its own after 45 days without use, or when you change your password or email.

Two commands and Gemini reads your recordings. With the timestamp of every line.

Upload your footage, let us transcribe it and connect Gemini CLI under Profile > Connections.

See the result on your own recording before adding a card.
