TV and film subtitle styles The look of streaming, broadcast and cinema.

These styles copy the subtitles people already trust. Streaming is clean white text with a shadow and no animation, like a series. Closed Caption sets white on a black strip per line, Anime gives white text a crisp black outline, and Lower Third adds a dark strip with a colored side bar. Trailer brings golden capitals out of the dark.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get subtitles without animation?

Yes. Streaming and Closed Caption have no word animation at all. If you need a file instead of burned-in captions, export an SRT with TV, Netflix or YouTube presets.

Which style looks like Netflix subtitles?

Streaming is the closest: clean white type with a soft shadow, five words per line and no animation. For a subtitle file, the SRT export has a Netflix preset.
